Gambar ini menunjukkan simbol-simbol waqf (berhenti) dalam Al-Quran – lengkap dengan panduan warna seperti lampu isyarat trafik: merah (mesti berhenti), kuning (boleh berhenti atau terus), dan hijau (teruskan, jangan berhenti). 🧠 Apa Maksudnya?


Merah = Mesti Berhenti

Contohnya simbol "م" bermaksud kita wajib berhenti, tak boleh teruskan bacaan. Simbol ini sangat penting untuk menjaga makna ayat supaya tidak berubah.


Kuning = Pilihan Anda

Contohnya simbol "ج" – kita boleh pilih untuk berhenti atau sambung. Tapi ada simbol seperti "ط" yang lebih baik berhenti, walaupun boleh terus.


Hijau = Jangan Berhenti

Simbol "لا" menunjukkan tak boleh berhenti – kalau kita berhenti di sini, makna ayat boleh jadi terputus atau silap tafsir.


💡Kenapa Ini Penting?

Ramai antara kita yang keliru bila membaca Al-Quran – nak berhenti atau tidak? Bila kita letih atau tak pasti, kita mungkin berhenti di tempat yang salah dan ini boleh ubah maksud ayat.


Visual seperti ini membantu pemahaman lebih cepat dan mudah – sesuai untuk pelajar, ibu bapa, guru, malah imam dan bilal sekalipun. Dalam dunia yang penuh maklumat, kesederhanaan visual adalah kekuatan. Ini juga selari dengan pendekatan saya dalam buku Profit$ from Visuals – bila kita boleh lukis, kita boleh faham & ajar dengan lebih jelas.

Have you ever felt like your days are full, but your heart feels empty?

That you’re always moving, but not really getting anywhere?

That’s how I’ve felt many times. And I know many others feel the same.

We rush through the day — meetings, chores, social media, conversations — and at the end of it all, we lie in bed wondering, “What did I actually achieve today?”

Recently, I came across a beautiful infographic titled “How GOALS are made” by edgetrainings.net, and it struck me. Hard.



It reminded me of something I often tell others in training, but sometimes forget to live by myself:

"If you don’t set the direction, don’t be surprised when life feels like you’re just floating.”


🎯 The Problem Isn’t Being Busy — It’s Being Directionless

We’ve been told all our lives to “work hard.” But working hard without clarity can feel like running on a treadmill — full effort, no progress.

This infographic breaks it down beautifully, showing that true achievement begins with clarity, not just action.


🔍 How Goals Are Really Made — 6 Simple Steps

Here’s what I took away:

1. Know Yourself & Decide What You Want

Many of us don’t take time to reflect on our true desires. Not what others want from us, but what we truly want. This is where goals begin — with self-honesty.

2. Do What You Love & Link Passion to Purpose

When your goal is tied to something you love, it becomes easier to commit. Your motivation is internal. You’re not just doing it for praise or profit — you're doing it because it matters to your soul.

3. Visualize the Affirmations

This isn’t just motivational fluff — it’s neuroscience. When you imagine a future where your goal is real, your brain begins to believe it’s possible. This belief shifts your actions.

4. Begin with the End in Mind

Stephen Covey said it. So did Prophet Yusuf (a.s.) when he saw his dream and lived toward it. Great goals start by imagining the final scene — the legacy, the transformation.

5. Set Discipline Limits

Here’s where most of us stumble. Dreams without discipline are daydreams. Set boundaries. Say no when needed. Wake up when it’s hard. This is the price of real progress.

6. Write the Goal Statement

Write it. Make it clear. Keep it short. Stick it somewhere you can see every day. Don’t let your goal live only in your mind — give it life through words.


🌙 Islamic Perspective on Goals

Islam is a goal-driven faith. We pray 5 times a day — why? To stay connected. We fast in Ramadan — why? To build taqwa. We give zakat — why? To purify our wealth and hearts.

Everything has a niyyah (intention), and every intention should align with a goal that pleases Allah.

The Qur’an reminds us:

“And He created everything and determined it with precise measurement.”
(Al-Qamar, 54:49)

Nothing in this universe was created randomly. Should our actions be any different?


The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said:

“The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though there is good in both.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Strength comes from direction. From knowing what matters. From choosing your priorities.


💡 Why This Matters to Me

As a trainer, I meet many students, professionals, and even parents who tell me:

“I feel stuck.”
“I don’t know where I’m heading.”
“I’m working so hard, but I’m still not satisfied.”

I always tell them, let’s go back to the root. What is your goal?

Not just big goals like career or business.

But daily goals like:

  • “Today I want to listen with full attention.”

  • “I want to sleep by 11PM.”

  • “I want to read 1 page of the Qur’an.”

Small goals, achieved consistently, lead to big transformations.

Take 5 minutes right now. Yes, now.

📌 Write down 1 small goal you want to commit to today.
Nothing fancy. Just meaningful.

Here are some examples:

  • Wake up without hitting snooze

  • Speak kindly to someone who annoys you

  • Clean your desk before Maghrib

  • Recite Surah Al-Waqi’ah after Asar

Do it. Write it. Feel the difference.
