π₯ The Power of Finishing What You Start π₯
Why success favors the finishersWe’ve all been there — fired up with excitement when starting something new.
πΈ Signing up for guitar lessons.
π₯ Joining a taekwondo class.
π Enrolling in a new course.
π Starting that side hustle or business.
But how many of us actually finish what we start?
The truth is: starting is easy — finishing is rare.
And yet, successful people are not just starters. They’re finishers. π
How to FINISH Everything You Start π‘
Here’s a powerful acronym to guide you — based on a visual I came across recently (and saved immediately π
):
π΄ F – Focus on one priority task.
Avoid multitasking madness. Pick one thing and give it your full attention.
π I – Ignore interruptions or distractions.
Put your phone on silent. Shut down that extra tab. You don’t need every notification.
π‘ N – Now is the time. Not later. Not tomorrow.
Procrastination is the enemy of progress. Start now — your future self will thank you.
π’ I – Initiate and innovate to keep going.
When you get stuck, don’t quit. Find new ways to push through.
π΅ S – Stay the course, however tough it gets.
Discipline beats motivation. Push through the dip.
π£ H – Hail, finishing by celebrating your accomplishment.
You did it! Mark the win, no matter how small. Finishing builds confidence.
π What Islam Teaches Us About Finishing What We Start
Islam emphasizes consistency, perseverance, and commitment.
✅ The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.”
— [Sahih Bukhari]
✅ In the Qur’an, Allah reminds us:
“And say, ‘Do [good] work, for Allah will see your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers.’”
— [Surah At-Tawbah 9:105]
✅ He also says:
“Indeed, those who have said, ‘Our Lord is Allah’ and then remained steadfast – the angels will descend upon them…”
— [Surah Fussilat 41:30]
Starting something good is great, but remaining steadfast is what brings barakah (blessing) and success.
✨ Don’t Just Start Strong. Finish Strong.
Whether it’s your career, studies, a business idea, or a personal goal, what truly matters is that you cross the finish line.
π¬ Think of one thing you started but haven’t finished yet.
π― Make a plan.
π Commit to it.
✅ Finish it — even if it takes time.
