What Teachers Taught Me This Week — And Why Every Parent Needs to Pay Attention Before 2026
This week humbled me.
After spending time with teachers in PPD Kinta Utara, and preparing for two more sessions next week, I realised something every parent must hear:
Teachers are upgrading themselves at a speed parents don’t realise.
And if parents don’t evolve alongside them, our children will get stuck in a learning gap that will cost them time, confidence, and results.
The change is happening now.
2026 is not waiting.
Expose the Real Issue
During yesterday’s Visual Teachers session with my partner, Dr Ruzaimi Mat Rani, founder of Drawzania & VTF, teachers shared their struggles honestly:
“Saya tak pandai melukis…”
“Saya stress nak buat PdPc menarik…”
“Murid tak faham walau dah explain banyak kali…”
These are educators with years of experience.
Yet even they feel the shift in how students learn today.
The truth is painful but simple:
π₯ Children today don’t learn the way we learned.
They’re visual.
They need structure.
They understand through diagrams, not long lectures.
And their attention span is shorter than ever.
Meanwhile…
Parents still rely on outdated methods:
“Baca lagi sekali…”
“Hafal sampai ingat…”
“Buat nota tebal-tebal…”
This mismatch, teachers teaching differently, but parents guiding traditionally, is creating silent stress for children.
2026 will amplify this even more.
The New Learning Language: Visual + AI
In the workshop, everything shifted the moment Dr Ruzaimi taught VTF, Visualization Through Freehand.
Teachers who were afraid of drawing suddenly realised:
“Saya boleh rupanya.”
Their faces changed.
Their confidence returned.
Their curiosity opened.
Then I introduced the next piece:
✔ ChatGPT as a visual feedback coach
Teachers drew something → snapped a photo → sent it to AI → got instant improvement.
✔ PIDO, my structured prompting method
They used it to generate:
-
visual teaching aids
-
step-by-step explanations
-
worksheets
-
SPM-style questions
-
lesson plans
-
mind maps
-
simplified notes
One teacher told me:
“Coach, pagi tadi saya stress. Sekarang saya yakin.”
At that moment, I knew:
Visual + AI is not optional. It is necessary.
But here’s the point parents MUST understand:
If teachers are evolving…
Parents must evolve, too.
Why Parents Must Act Before 2026
Your child will enter a learning environment in 2026 that is:
-
more visual
-
more structured
-
more AI-integrated
-
more KBAT-based
-
more digital
-
more demanding
If home support stays outdated, children will feel lost between two worlds.
What parents need now:
✔ simple visual explanations
✔ structured step-by-step methods
✔ AI-assisted learning
✔ a Study Co-Pilot at home
✔ clarity, not pressure
✔ learning strategies that match the classroom
✔ tools teachers are now using
Allah reminds us:
“Allah will raise those who believe and those given knowledge by many degrees.” (Al-Mujadilah 58:11)
And Rasulullah SAW taught:
“Each of you is a shepherd and each of you will be questioned about your flock.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Parents must lead the learning journey, not just depend on schools.
What Parents Gain
Parents who learn Visual + AI techniques will see:
✨ Faster understanding
✨ Less struggle with homework
✨ More confident children
✨ Better exam preparation
✨ Less tuition dependency
✨ More peaceful study time at home
✨ Better communication between parent & child
✨ Time and cost savings
This is not about technology.
This is about making learning easier.
For parents AND children.
Real Stories from Yesterday
These are actual testimonials from teachers in PPD Kinta Utara:
✔ “Program ini membuka minda.”
✔ “Sangat bermanfaat untuk murid sederhana & lemah.”
✔ “Sekarang saya yakin guna visual.”
✔ “Ilmu sangat mahal dan rugi tak join.”
✔ “Patut semua guru belajar program ini.”
If teachers feel this transformation…
Imagine what parents can do with the same skills at home.
Call to Action
If teachers are upgrading,
parents must upgrade too, before 2026 begins.
