🌍 From Local Dream to Global Recognition: The Certified Visual Teachers Movement

🌍 From Local Dream to Global Recognition: The Certified Visual Teachers Movement

When we first started the Visual Teachers journey, our mission was simple yet bold: to empower teachers across Malaysia to communicate and teach better through visuals.

Today, that mission has reached the global stage.

Yayasan Wiba Prima has been officially recognized by the QS Reimagine Education Awards & Conference 2025 in London, United Kingdom, receiving a Certificate of Recognition for the Certified Visual Teachers (CVT) Training Program.

This international acknowledgment validates not only the program’s impact but also Malaysia’s growing reputation as an innovator in education.

🎨 The Power of Visualization in Teaching

The Certified Visual Teachers (CVT) initiative equips educators with the skill of Visualization Through Freehand (VTF), a unique approach pioneered by Dr. Ruzaimi Mat Rani, founder of Drawzania.

The goal is to help teachers transform complex lessons into visual narratives that students can see, feel, and understand. Through creative drawings and visual storytelling, classroom learning becomes more engaging, inclusive, and memorable.

So far, more than 2,135 teachers from various states, including Johor, Kelantan, Selangor, Perak, and Terengganu, have been trained under this program. Each of these teachers, in turn, has inspired thousands of students, multiplying the program’s positive impact across Malaysia.

🌟 Why This Recognition Matters

The QS Reimagine Education Awards are often called the “Oscars of Education.”
They celebrate institutions and organizations that are redefining the future of learning through innovation and impact.

For Yayasan Wiba Prima, this recognition is not merely a certificate; it’s a validation of the hard work, creativity, and faith in Malaysian educators who believe that teaching is not just about information, but about inspiration.

It is also a reminder that world-class innovation can start in local classrooms when passionate teachers are given the right tools and support.

🀝 A Call to Collaborate: Let’s Empower Every Teacher in Malaysia

We believe this is only the beginning.

Our vision is to bring the Certified Visual Teachers program to every state in Malaysia, in partnership with:

  • Ministry of Education (KPM)

  • Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN)

  • Corporate CSR partners

  • Public & private universities

  • Educational NGOs and foundations

Together, we can build a nationwide network of teachers equipped with 21st-century visual communication skills, making Malaysia a global model for creative education transformation.

If your organization shares this vision, we invite you to partner with us.
Let’s make this movement national, and together, put Malaysia on the world map of educational innovation.

πŸ’¬ In Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to:

  • Dr. Ruzaimi Mat Rani, founder of Drawzania

  • All state education departments and universities that supported this movement

  • The dedicated Visual Teachers, who continue to inspire classrooms every day

Your efforts have made this recognition possible, and this is only the beginning.
