That would definitely be a dream come true right?
Have you ever wanted to make money by doing the things that you love instead of the things that you have to do for example a job that you don’t like?
Today more often than not we end up doing the things that we don’t enjoy doing. More often we do it because we have to do it not because we want to do it. And the sad part is that we justify to our self that we have to do it to earn a living. Does it sound familiar? Is it right?
Wrong! It doesn’t have to be that way anymore. You have a choice. You only have one shot at life so why can’t you do the things that you love and make a living from it.
Most people know this but they do not do anything. Check out the following statistics;
In 1987, 61% of workers were happy with their jobs.
In 2005, 52% were satisfied.
In 2006, only 47% like their jobs!
The happiest workers are those over 55, those who make more than $50,000 a year, those who put in more than 50 hours a week on the job, and those who live in the mountains.
The least happy workers are those under 25, those who are making less than $15,000 a year and those living in the cities!
The question is, Are you one of them? And if so what can we do about it.
A few years back, we had finished our degrees and we got ourselves jobs so that we can survive. But along the way we realize that it was not what we wanted to do. Surprising almost 80% of the people that we spoke to felt the same way! But the more alarming fact is that nobody took action. It’s as though they have accepted their fate and that is their destiny.
We believe otherwise. We believe that life is about choices and you make your own future. Today we know that you can not only make money from doing what you love, in fact you can become wealthy doing what you love.
Look around you; some of the wealthiest people on the planet are people who are doing what they love. People like Tiger Woods, David Beckham, Michael Schumacher and etc. There also those in the music or movies who are doing what they love. There are also business people like Donald Trump who loves business and making crazy money because of it.
And every time we look or hear about them we become envious as we want what they are having but we feel that we just don’t have the talent or what it takes.
The fact os that there are also normal people like you and me who are making money from their passion, interest and hobbies. Today the population of the world and the use of the internet have allowed everybody the opportunity to create an income from their passion.
The only trick is to find out how to do it!
But before you can go any further, you need to discover your passion. What is it that makes you tick? What gives you energy and drives you to succeed. You need to find it. Sometimes it is not that obvious.

I started to explore other things. I got into direct selling and it was than I discovered my passion of speaking and sharing with people. Every time when I am given the opportunity to talk from stage or teach I get excited. My brain goes to work and I feel a sense of fulfillment. In fact I am like an energizer bunny. Why? You guessed it! It’s because it is my passion.
When we decided that we wanted to do our own business, the first things that we asked ourselved is that something that we want to do or has to do. There is a huge difference between wanting and having. It could make or break you and it could be the difference between success and failure.

In order to discover your passion you need to think deep. You really need to sit down and ask yourself questions. Most people simply do things out of excitement or because they see the emotional feeling that they might feel or get from doing something. Then they get trapped. How many people do you know today are stuck with business ventures they don’t even like. There are a lot out there. So it pays to do something that you love because one of the criteria of doing the things that you love is that you will do it regardless if you are paid or not.
As Robert Kiyosaki says in his best seller rich Dad Poor Dad, never work for money. The only way you can never work for money is by doing what you love.
So look back at your life. What is it that inspires you? What do you like to do? What is your hobby? How do you spend your time? And one other way is what is it that you cannot stop talking about? Ask the people around you. They will give you an honest answer.
Your passion could be anything from cooking, sewing, photography, playing golf, video games, programming, speaking, gardening, writing, teaching and the list could go on and on. Take some time to discover your passion. The best part is that you can have more than 1 passion!
