How is merchandising relevant to an entrepreneur?

How is merchandising relevant to an entrepreneur?

In order to answer this I need to first define what is an entrepreneur. By definition an entrepreneur is someone who solves a problem or provide a solution for a profit. The key word here is profit.

Based on numerous research for an entrepreneur there are only 3 ways that you can increase your profit. You can argue all you want but there are only 3 ways you can do it. The 3 ways are:

1. Increase the number of clients that the entrepreneur has.
2. Increase the frequency that the clients spend with the entrepreneur.
3. Increase the amount that the clients spend with the entrepreneur.

If you look at the 3 ways listed above hence merchandising is definitely relevant to an entrepreneur. Through the proper and right merchandising campaign, an entrepreneur can effectively promote it's brand and increase it's number of clients resulting in more profit.

A wide range of merchandise can be used to encourage higher frequency of purchase from the same clients resulting also in more profits. And finally merchandise is a fantastic way for you to do up selling, cross selling and back end selling so that the entrepreneur can increase the amount a client will spend. This will definitely help to boost profit.

One of the best example would have to be McDonalds with their Happy Meals. They really milk is such that they produce merchandise with every possible hit movies or cartoons.

In short, YES! Merchandising is very mich relevant to an entrepreneur.

Perkara Sebelum Tidur (Tafsir Haqqi)

Sekadar ingat mengingati.. ...

SEBELUM Tidur

Perkara Sebelum Tidur( Tafsir Haqqi )

Rasulullah berpesan kepada Aisyah ra : "Ya Aisyah jangan engkau tidur
sebelum melakukan empat perkara, yaitu :

1. Sebelum khatam Al Qur'an,
2. Sebelum membuat para nabi memberimu syafaat di hari akhir,
3. Sebelum para muslim meridloi kamu,
4. Sebelum kau laksanakan haji dan umroh....

"Bertanya Aisyah :
"Ya Rasulullah.. .. Bagaimana aku dapat melaksanakan empat perkara
seketika?"

Rasul tersenyum dan bersabda : "Jika engkau tidur bacalah : Al Ikhlas
tigakali seakan-akan kau mengkhatamkan Al Qur'an.

Bismillaahirrohmaan irrohiim,
Qulhualloohu ahad' Alloohushshomad' lam yalid walam yuulad' walam
yakul lahuu kufuwan ahad' ( 3 x )

Membacalah sholawat untukKu dan para nabi sebelum aku, maka kami semua
akan memberi syafaat di hari kiamat.

Bismillaahirrohmaan irrohiim, Alloohumma shollii 'alaa syaidinaa
Muhammad wa'alaa aalii syaidinaa Muhammad ( 3 x )

Beristighfarlah untuk para muslimin maka mereka akan meredloi kamu.

Astaghfirulloohal adziim aladzii laa ilaaha illaa huwal hayyul qoyyuum
wa atuubu ilaih ( 3 x )

Dan,perbanyaklah bertasbih, bertahmid, bertahlil, bertakbir maka
seakan-akankamu telah melaksanakan ibadah haji dan umroh"

Bismillaahirrohmaan irrohiim, Subhanalloohi Walhamdulillaahi

2 Tips on DRIVING IN RAIN...This May SaveYour Life..Read to the very end!

Good information, especially with the raining season around. And, don't forget to pass it onto ALL your dear ones and friends,......far and near, including non-driver(s) to remind the driver(s).

SAFE-DRIVING TIPS WHEN IT IS RAINING!

1. GOOD VISION IN A DOWNPOUR

How to achieve good vision while driving during a heavy downpour.

We are not sure why it is so effective; just try this method when it rains heavily.

This method was told by a Police friend who had experienced and confirmed it.

It is useful...even driving at night.

Most of the motorists would turn on HIGH or FASTEST SPEED

of the wipers during heavy downpour, yet the visibility in front of the windshield is still bad......

In the event you face such a situation, just put on your SUN GLASSES (any model will do), and miracle!

All of a sudden, your visibility in front of your windshield is perfectly clear, as if there is no rain.

Make sure you always have a pair of SUN GLASSES in your car.

You are not only helping yourself to drive safely with good vision, but also might save your friend's life by giving him this idea..

Try it yourself and share it with your friends!???

Amazing, you still see the drops on the windshield, but not the sheet of rain falling.?

You can see where the rain bounces off the road. It works to eliminate the "blindness" from passing cars. Or the "kickup" if you are following a car in the rain.

They ought to teach this little tip in driver's training.. It really does work.

This is a good warning. I wonder how many people knew about this.

Another good tip:

2. DO NOT USE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN IT IS RAINING
A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago. She was traveling between Gladewater & Kilgore. It was raining, though not excessively and her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence! When she explained to the highway patrolman what had happened.

He told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON . She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain..

But the highway patrolman told her that if the cruise control is on, your car will begin to hydro-plane when the tires lose contact with the pavement, and your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane. She told the patrolman that was exactly what

had occurred. The patrolman said this warning should be listed, on the

driver's seat sun-visor - NEVER USETHE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY , along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the patrolman), was a man who had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers are on. Even if you send this to 15 people and only one of them doesn't know about this, its still worthy. You might have saved a life.

My Own Experience ~ 2 Steps to Making Money Online

It has been only a couple of days since attending the Global Internet Seminar or GIS 2010. I have already started to implement one of the strategies suggested by the internet Guru's.

The first method is the 2 steps that I shared earlier whereby the first step is to find a question and the second part it to find a solution and recommend it to the people asking the question. So far I have already found and answered 3 questions. I'm just going to share what I did so that it might help you out. Maybe you can do better than what I did.

Step 1 - Find questions.

What  I did was I went to yahoo answers, ask ville.com and also wiki answers. For me wiki answers was the most suitable. I than started to browse through all the categories. I have to admit that it wasn't easy to find the category that is suitable for me. I tried the health category and half way through reading all the questions I just couldn't take it anymore. I didn't realize how graphic and how detailed the questions were posted online. I just couldn't take it anymore. I went through a couple of other categories and it was than I realized that I had better stick to what I am passionate about. I also realized that in answering questions you have to go with the mind set of helping people based on your knowledge and experience.

I found a couple of questions the first night and I also answered a question earlier this morning. Basically the questions were related to personal development and communication skills which I am very passionate about. Heck, these are skills that me and my wife teach to undergraduates. After answering the questions, what I did was I went to clickbank.com and sourced out products which I feel are relevant and could be of use to the person asking the question. I put a link with my answer. So far I don't see any results yet but I am happy that I could share a bit of my knowledge and who knows it might help someone out there.

You can check out my answers at my facebook profile. Just go to http://www.facebook.com/amiruliskandar

I hope that my experience above can help you get started. I am definitely going to keep on answering questions. The objective is to help people and I believe if we focus on that the rewards will come sooner or later. :)

2 Steps to Making Money Online

What a great weekend. Attended the Global Internet Summit or GIS 2010 in KL.

This is my second time attending this event. We learned a lot of new things and most importantly new techniques. The internet is moving at such a fast pace and it has really changed the way we all do business. The market is so huge and it is growing each second! Today there are 1.9 billion people online and it's only about 30% of the world's population. We need to get a piece of the pie.

On the first day, Vince Tan shared with us 2 easy steps to make money. I think the steps are pretty easy but as always it's easier said than done. Nonetheless it is a good way to start. Here are the steps;

Step 1 - Find questions
There are a lot of people out there asking questions for their problems. It could be on health, financial, relationship, technical and etc. Basically they have problems that need to be solved. Hence what they require are answers!

So where do you look for people with questions? You can go to the following

  1. yahoo answers
  2. askville.com

Find a category that you are comfortable with and start looking for questions that you would like to help people solve. Normally the hot topics are health, technical and self help.

Step 2 - Provide the answers
Now you go to clickbank or paydotcom.com to get suitable products; ie ebooks that can help people with their problems. Share with the people and recommend the sites that you found which you think could help with their problems.

Anyways, I have tried to do it and It's not that easy. It requires time and effort but I know that once you get the hang of it you are going to make money online! Give a shot.

Personally I feel that for internet marketing the main thing that we need to have is TRAFFIC and the best way to do it is if you can have a software or other people do it for you. Here is one way you can generate a lot of traffic: http://preview.tinyurl.com/2fn5lb8

I will be posting other ways to make money online based on what we have learned at GIS2010.
